Today, you received the following email from your friend Sara. Oops, she thought your name was Marco again!
Complete the following scrambled sentences activity to help you plan your email reply with some useful ideas. Do you remember all the different parts of the email? Let's play!
Write an informal email responding to your friend Sara. Remember, your email should have around 100 words and should include the following parts:

✅ Opening
✅ Main Paragraphs
✅ Closing
✅ Goodbye
✅ Signature
💡Tips:
1. You may start an informal email with Hi ...
2. Make sure you answer any questions that were asked.
3. Use informal vocabulary (e.g. to get together, to catch up) for a friendly tone.
4. Before your signature, finish the email with a phrase, Looking forward to seeing
you!
5. End with Love, (for close friends and family) or Take care, before signing your name.

What is the purpose of this activity?
The aim of this activity is to promote real world writings in the language classroom setting. Resources such as Educaplay and LiveWorksheet are very convenient for students to identify parts of the sentence structure and to practice writing sample emails.
In this activity, students will reply to an informal email using different language expressions for each section of the email.
