The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is an American late-night talk show hosted by actor and comedian Jimmy Fallon that airs on NBC.

The program airs on weeknights and opens with Fallon's topical monologue. It transitions into comedic sketches, games, guest interviews, and ends with a musical performance.

What is the purpose of this activity?

The purpose of this activity is to give students an opportunity to listen to an authentic show in the target language. Youtube is an online media platform which easily connects viewers to content from their favourite artists. Additionally, Genially offers the chance to create a quiz, serving as a post-listening activity for students to self-check their understanding. 

Students are able to watch and listen to information presented during an interview of a world famous person and check their understanding with a trivia game.
